Energy Holding has established “Agro-Market Tarımsal Ürünler Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S.” (Agro-Market) in order to continue its agricultural activities under a corporate structure.
It carries out conventional and organic farming activities on large-scale agricultural lands owned in the Thracian Basin and the Aegean Region, and produces the following main agricultural products;
- Grains (wheat, barley, oats, etc.)
- Oilseeds (sunflower, canola, etc.)
- Rice
- Sugar beet
- Sweetcorn
- Vegetables and fruits
The future agricultural planning of the company is to create added value by processing the obtained agricultural products and the production of seeds most suitable with the characteristics of the soil and the climate of the region where the production is made.
In addition, activities such as greenhouse operations, vegetable and fruit drying facility and fertilizer production (urea) by using the heat and by-products obtained from the geothermal energy facilities, are among the agricultural projects that are planned to be invested.
